Worship Confessional: March 8, 2009
After being out of town this week, it was great to get back home to my family and to my church. I came into the services with great anticipation after being able to take part of some workshops at Granger Community Church. Being at a conference always gets me fired up to go back and accomplish more and raise the bar as we do! This trip was no different! It is hard to spend time with leaders that are doing such a great job and making such a great impact for the Kingdom and not come away with a desire to do more yourself! (Just a note, but I was able to interview several of their staff and will put those interviews up this week!)
We have had some sound issues since I arrived here. After trying to fix some things in house, I finally had someone come out and take care of tweaking some things, and it made a HUGE difference in our sound today! It was awesome! The mix was likely the best we have had since I arrived! I am quite excited about the days ahead as our church continues to make progress towards all God wants us to be! Ok, on to the set-list

Message from our pastor – we started a new 4-week series called “A Time To Build” that focuses on the things we need as a church to build into what God wants us to be. We had a great start as our Pastor talked about church membership. We had prepared for this for the last several weeks, and actually had about 25 people join today!
Response Time – We used Amazing Grace/My Chains are Gone – Tomlin/Giglio/Excell/Rees
Set two:
Jesus Messiah – Tomlin/Carson/Reeves/Cash (We actually had to skip this one today, just ran out of time!)
Mighty To Save –Fielding/Morgan

It was a great experience. I grew up in that area, so I have been able to follow that church a bit. It is awesome to see what God is doing, and to know that the same can happen at any church if we would just follow Jesus!
