I am constantly amazed at how God works.  I enjoy sitting back on a Sunday and watching everything that we have worked on during the week come together into a service where God meets with us and does things that we could not even imagine.  Not that we really have that much to do with God moving or not.  It is up to Him, not us.  We just pray and follow where He leads and He does the rest.

A favorite part of my Sunday is our prayer meeting with some of the men of the church 15 minutes before the service starts.  We get to share with them what we have planned for that day, and then as we kneel down, they lay hands on us and pray that God will use us.  It is humbling, sobering, and energizing to say the least.  I love our people and the love and desire they have for God.

We had a good day at G’ville.  Our Lead Pastor was gone (some much needed r&r), so our Discipleship Pastor spoke in our first service, and our Youth Pastor spoke in our second service.  They both did a great job!  Here is our schedule for the day:

  • Friend of GodGungor/Houghton
  • Blessed Be Your NameRedman/Redman

Welcome and Upwards re-cap video (by our Childrens/Sports Pastor)

(in our second service, we went right into an intro video on purity for the message)

Message – Second service message was about the importance of purity in our lives and homes.  Great message!

I hope everyone had a great weekend of worship!  May we carry that through the week and live lives of worship!  HE is worthy!
