Worship Confessional: July 26th, 2009
I had a fantastic week being able to attend the National Worship Leaders Conference in Leawood, KS at the Church of the Resurrection. I will post about the conference this week after I digest and process it a bit more. I am filled up though, and could not wait to get back to my church and lead worship today! I woke up and immediately changed my mind on one of the songs we were doing… I had to do one that I heard this last week at the conference! So we did! This was also the second week in the series “Comfortable,” and one of our men, Richard Perez, spoke today on the topic “Lazy Boy.” He did a fantastic job! Ok, on to the set-list!
- Hosanna – Baloche/Brown
- Beautiful One – Hughes
Choir – Not To Us (From the collection Still Amazed Live)
- Your Name – Baloche/Packiam (Heard this song this last week and LOVED it!)
Message – Richard Perez: Lazy Boy
Time of response
Offering
- Holy Is The Lord – Tomlin/Giglio (Actually had to skip this one… ran out of time again today!)
- Better Than Life – Cruse-Ratcliff/Houghton
It was just a great day to be in God’s house! This post is also part of Sunday Setlists at Fred McKinnon [dot] com, which is having its one year party today! Catch it if you can!

Alas, too busy to be able to attend any conferences in the foreseeable future. It’d be great to run into some of the folks from here at one. Solid list.

Great to meet you last week! So much has happened since we met. Really you wouldn’t believe it if I told you. Can’t wait to chronicle it in blog form.
Great set – Try “Hallelujah, You’re my King” by Paul Baloche and Brenton Brown. If you like Your Name (Which I love) you’ll like Hallelujah…
It is a great day to be in God’s house.
Be blessed Jason
