Worship Confessional: August 30th, 2009
Our day today was a little unusual. In fact we had seven different speakers for the message today! We did an overview of ministry today for our message, so each of the full/part time pastors had the opportunity to share for a few minutes about their area of ministry. It was an unusual but fun way to present ministries in the church. We have a big kickoff on September 20th to get back into the fall schedule. I am looking forward to that! Because of the unusual way we did the message, we never got to the last two songs of the day. I will go ahead and list them in the setlist, but we never did get to them. On to the setlist!
- Marvelous Light – Hall
- Salvation Is Here – Houston (First time we have done this one… I LOVE this song! What a declaration in the chorus!)
Special Music – “I Will Not Be Moved” (Natalie Grant) Our band and vocals did a FANTASTIC job on this! Rocked the house!
Intro Video on “The Body”
Message – As I mentioned, a whole mess of us spoke!
Time of response
Offering
- From The Inside Out – Houston
- A New Hallelujah – Baloche/Smith/Smith
Fall is in the air, and I love the fall! Hope you all had a great day of worship! This post is also part of Sunday Setlists at Fred McKinnon [dot] com.

I’m a big fan of “Salvation Is Here”! Nice setlist and your service sounds like it was a lot of fun.

We intro’d Salvation Is Here during our Walk-in set. We will sing it during the service for the first time this coming Sunday. Great song!
Blessings!
