Worship Confessional: May 3rd, 2009
Every week I am in God’s house I can hardly believe that I get to do what I do. I love the Lord and His church, and it is so cool to be able to be work with my teams in leading worship. We had a wonderful day today, the singing was off the charts… just so moving! Maybe it was just me, but it did seem people were really engaged today.
This was the last week of our X-Factor series, and the topic of the day was “Xhort.” Our pastor spoke, and talked about why and how we should encourage one another as we do life together. Here is our schedule for the day:
- Everlasting God – Brown/Riley
- Open The Eyes Of My Heart – Baloche
- Here I Am To Worship – Hughes
Prayer/Welcome Time

You said “I can hardly believe I get to do what I do”. I couldn’t agree with this statement more.
I thank God for the opportunity that I have. I feel completely honored, amazed and humbled at the privilege of leading God’s people in worshiping Him. I can’t believe I get to do this, there is absolutely nothing I would rather do!

We introduced “God You Reign” to our morning service this week and it was awesome.

How’s it goin, Jason?
Do you record your services on video?
Jason Petermann
Jamey, we record the services on video, but they are not online anywhere.

Jason – I completely identify with your first sentences. There are times when I am just overcome at our rehearsals and on Sunday mornings. Great Set – I need to plug in Majesty…thanks for the reminder! Blessings.

Dude, I love your new blog design/layout. Very classy.

Thanks man… putting final tweaks on it now, but I actually like this one! Something with the others just did not click with me… Once I finish this, I am leaving it alone for a few months!
